Tampico Grain LLC was formed in 2009 as a spinoff of Wischmeier Trucking Inc to offer local farmers an option to sell their grain direct from the farm.   This service was well received by the community and as demand increased a new grain facility, with an office and marketing staff, was built in 2013 giving farmers another option for selling their grain.  Expansions in 2015 and 2017 have raised the total capacity of the facility to 1.4 million bushels.
